 The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Adm. Awwal Gambo, announced the recruitment of the Nigerian Navy to all qualified candidates as part of his intentions to provide the necessary people for the naval operations, according to Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, spokesman for the Nigerian Navy.

The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform the general public and all potential applicants that the online registration for its NNBTS Batch 35 Recruitment Exercise will commence on Wednesday 29 March 2023 and close on Saturday 6 May 2023.

An application is free and applicants are advised to apply once as multiple applications/registrations will be disqualified. Applicants are advised to read the detailed instructions and requirements.

Nigerian Navy 2023/2024 Recruitment Exercise Portal: process

 Nigeria’sNavy recruitment process is divided into four(4) steps

  1. The application
  2. Shortlisting stage
  3. Screening stage
  4. Training/Employment stage

The application stage

This stage is where interested persons of the Nigerian Navy submit an application for the recruitment exercise via the online recruitment portal

Shortlisting Stage

After you have submitted the applications and the recruitment portal closed, the Nigerian Navy will verify and approve the submitted applications and afterward release the names of 

successful applicants.

Screening stage 

Shortlisted candidates are subjected to further screening which is usually CBT base test and their academic credentials are also reviewed. 

Training Stage

Those who were successful at the screening stage are then trained and after the Nigerian Navy offers them an appointment and they resume duty.

Requirements for Nigerian Navy 2023/2024 Recruitment Exercise Portal 2023

1. Applicants must be Nigerian by birth.

2. The Applicant must have a means of identification like a national ID card or international passport 

3. Applicant must have at least five (5) credits in either WAEC or GCE or NABTEB including English language and mathematics in not more than 2 sittings

4. Applicants should be between 18 to 22 years of age for SSCE holders.

5. Applicants must submit for NCE, OND, Diploma, and Nurse/ Midwifery, tradesmen should be between the age of 18 to 26 years.

6. Married individuals are not allowed to apply

7. Applicant must not be less than 1.69m tall for males and 1.6m for females.

8. Applicants must also have a bank verification number

Nigerian Navy Recruitment Closing Date 2023

The closing date of Nigerian Navy (NNBTC 35) recruitment is on Saturday, 6th, May 2023. 

An applicant who cannot complete their forms on or before the stipulated date will be disqualified.
